Another thing to consider is if you are reposting everything under the sun for money without purpose, you are essentially exposing your follows to spam and possible harm if what you are promoting harms them, it also makes you look desperate too and often will make people not interact with you.
Believe me I know, I used to be the king of paid engagement as many of you know.
But also I have come to the conclusion that Nostr is something special, and is worth being protected from this type of behavior.
Which is why I am now taking the pledge of “MY NPUB IS NOT FOR SALE” meaning I pledge not to engage in fake engagement or promote fake engagement, meaning reposts, likes, or follows for money.
I have no problem with advertising on Nostr, in fact I think there are many great ways to do so in a less invasive manner.

Trump 'niet van plan' om Fed-voorzitter Powell te ontslaan
De Amerikaanse president Trump heeft gezegd dat hij niet van plan is om Jerome Powell, de voorzitter van de Amerikaanse centrale bank te ontslaan. Eerder had Trump gezegd te onderzoeken of een ontslag mogelijk was omdat hij ontevreden is over het optreden van Powell. Nu lijkt hij de situatie dus te de-escaleren.
Trump was de afgelopen dagen heel kritisch op de Amerikaanse centrale bank Fed en voorzitter Powell. Trump noemde hem "een enorme loser" omdat hij de rente niet verlaagt. Hij vindt ook dat Powell te voorzichtig is en noemt hem "meneer te laat".
Dat vindt Trump nog steeds. "Ik zou graag zien dat hij wat actiever is met zijn idee om de rente te verlagen", zei hij vannacht. Maar een ontslag lijkt voorlopig dus niet aan de orde.
Na de uitspraken van Trump stegen de aandelenkoersen op Wall Street met bijna 2 procent. Aandelen, obligaties en de Amerikaanse dollar waren allemaal gedaald na de aanvallen van Trump op de voorzitter van de Amerikaanse centrale bank.
Lenen goedkoper
Het verlagen van de rente kan de president op verschillende manieren helpen. Daardoor kan de economie extra groeien, doordat geld lenen goedkoper wordt. Ook kunnen bedrijven dan meer investeren.
Maar Powell wijst erop dat centrale banken als taak hebben om te zorgen voor kalmte en stabiliteit. Hij wil eerst afwachten wat het effect is van het economische beleid van Trump.
