DCA Strategy (hourly, daily, weekly)
TL;DR: I asked ChatGPT to crunch some numbers so I don’t have to think too hard about when to buy Bitcoin. Turns out: it kinda matters – but not that much. Weekly DCA is a gamble, daily is chill, hourly is overkill (unless you're into spreadsheets and order spam).
I came across a dataset going back to 2017 with hourly OHLC prices from Binance (UTC-based, it seems). I’m no data analyst (and barely use Python), so I let my friend ChatGPT do most of the heavy lifting while I nodded approvingly.
Curious to see how much of a difference timing actually makes, I ran some comparisons between hourly, daily (at different times), and weekly DCA strategies (on various days and times).
Fees weren’t included – so if you're using a platform that charges per order, hourly DCA might nibble away at your sats faster than you think.
The results?
In the worst case, the deviation between the best and worst strategy is around 4%.
Surprisingly, both the top performer and the worst performer turned out to be weekly strategies.
If you want to reduce that variance, daily DCA seems like a solid middle ground.
Hourly DCA? Only moderately useful. Even if you consistently hit the worst time of day for your daily DCA order, the deviation is still only around 0.3–0.4% (depending on the time range you’re looking at). But hey – that’s just 30 orders a month instead of 720, which might matter if you’re tracking things for tax purposes.
You could turn this into a science project (and add stuff like volatility, Sharpe ratio, etc.) – or just go with your gut and buy whenever your coffee kicks in and Bitcoin crosses your mind.
I did this little experiment back in late December and haven’t touched it since.

he's back from the vet now, mouth all bloody... they took three of his canines and 4 of his molars, i think... so he has enough bities left to pull apart chunks of meat, at least, i think they left his incisors alone, pretty sure they took like 4 of his molars
of course he's all wobbly from the anaesthesia and he's gonna be in a bit of pain for a while but i have antiinflammatories for another 2 weeks at strong dose and another course of antibiotics and some kind of goo for his gums to help them heal
i think he's gonna be ok... he asked about whether i wanted to get the hyperplasic gum tissue biopsied for cancer but i looked up the situation with cats with mouth cancer and only about 0.5% incidence of this in the population and usually once it's at the level he might have had by now he only has 6 weeks to live, so i don't want to make him suffer through more of this "medicine" when the research shows that aggressive interventions have no benefit over just giving them stuff for their pain and stuff anyway
but i'm highly skeptical that a cat that spent 5-6 months living outside here in a very clean and quiet section at the edge of madeira with very little in the way of carcinogens in his environment is suffering that
much more likely he's just got infected gums because he was eating shitty cat food that is full of mites and food for bacteria
so, couple weeks of more medicines, and he should be fine after that i think, in fact i reckon within 4 days he's gonna be running around mad playing
they didn't ask me about that either, he was routinely spending about an hour a day running around like a loon, fighting the rugs and running up and down the stairs and scooting back and forth, so i think he'll be great after this
maybe a little more difficult for him to eat but he's got enough teeth left that he can still tear up veal, i'm sure, and i will keep feeding him this kind of stuff so his gums get a good massage
i'm sure he's going to be fine, and i certainly am not going to let them tinker with him any more... i begged them to leave his canines but they took three of them, it's just barely doing what i asked
i will pray for him and feed him good food and i think everything will be ok

in my case the most strong symptoms were muscle weakness and cramping, and then chronic double vision
my vision is fine, as far as focus goes, a little further away for minimum distance but my eyes are not converging correctly, and it makes it really hard to read
turned out that one of the biggest causes was caffeine, cutting that out reduced the probem by like 20% but i am now trying to cut out alcohol as well, that was a big one, and i need to cut carbs right back, ideally i should just be eating beef and that's it, maybe a little liver and fish
oh yeah, artificial sweeteners were a big part of it, another one - citric acid, too much orange juice and fizzy drinks loaded with citric acid, depleting my calcium and magnesium levels
hopefully i will start to recover more with no coffee and a lot less alcohol but i really need to get my freezer full of beef and eat very little else

De acordo com a SSP, a bolsa-auxílio é de R$600,00, vale-transporte de R$ 9,00 e cobertura de seguro contra acidentes pessoais. O estágio é de quatro horas diárias presenciais, totalizando 20 horas semanais, e vigência de 12 meses, podendo ser prorrogado até o limite máximo de dois anos.
Para se inscrever, o candidato deve enviar o currículo para o email lucas.chagas@ssp.se.gov.br, com o assunto "CADASTRO DE CURRÍCULO - DIREITO" ou "CADASTRO DE CURRÍCULO - ADMINISTRAÇÃO". O prazo de convocação é de um ano, conforme a necessidade e abertura de vagas na SSP. No e-mail também deve ser informada a disponibilidade de horário do estudante para o trabalho.
A SSP não divulgou o prazo para a inscrição.

They have a more complex capital structure, but the website has a SHARES tab with the breakdown of all their shares and their bitcoin holdings. They even add up the total for the assumed diluted shares outstanding. If people can’t figure out how to get from A to B from there then they probably shouldn’t be investing.

Os problemas de centralização é impossível de resolver, afinal isso é fiat.
Mas o KYC, quem está enviando, não precisaria informar dados pessoais.
Quem ta na ponta, de fato, mas isso não precisa ser vinculado a um CPF e sim CNPJ, afinal é assim que as pirâmides e tigrinho funcionam no Brasil.
Talvez as pessoas entenderam errado o projeto, assim que li sobre, eu vi ele como uma forma de EU não me expor ou ter contas bancárias, aliás o próprio cara que fez a transferência é gringo, ele não tem como ter pix.
Se não me engano, tem até uma empresa aqui no brasil que faz a mesma coisa para argentinos que vem pro brasil, eles pagam na moeda local e a empresa paga em real para o destinatário.

It has been working pretty well since nostrbook.dev was indexed. It also includes a tool to search code snippets, making this MCP server quite effective for quickly retrieving data about the protocol, NIPs, kinds, code examples etc.

You can simply prompt your LLM with "give me an overview of the news from all your sources," and it will gather the latest posts from each source, providing you with a comprehensive overview, pretty cool for a morning news digest.

These are the tools I'm running, but there are also other interesting tools that others are running, which you can plug directly into your LLM or simply visit dvmcp.fun to use them without needing an LLM. If you want to use this with your LLM, I recommend using Goose, but you can use any other client with MCP capabilities.
