It's a business designed to shape entire societies into miserable ones so that many "industrial complexes" can attach themselves to in order to launder tax money or to separate the money from people in despair or rich people looking for tax write offs and to feel virtuous. None the less, why most people are suffering endlessly is because entire industries have been shaped around and tapped into this unfortunate element of life itself. Capitalism is built entirely around human suffering and lack of satisfaction. Why it continues perpetuating itself and getting worse. Normal human baseline suffering isn't nearly as rough and complex as today's suffering. The entire reason you work and spend money perpetuating this system is to avoid or manage the artificially engineered synthetic suffering
