I agree the reward bitcoin should be untaxed as an income event when you get it as “cash back” although I’m less certain about the 5-10 says I get from daily spins. BUT, It is all still subject to capital gains when you sell it regardless of how you got it. Whether you need to keep it separate from your purchased bitcoin is up to you.

Some pension experience for the younger plebs thinking of starting a private pension.
My wife started a private pension 25 years ago. She paid in a fixed monthly amount matched by her employer.
After 25 years it matured, my wife was given the option to re-invest, but being Bitcoiners, we decided to cash out to become self sovereign.
If we include the matched employer contributions, the pension has lost money. However on just my wife’s contribution, it has made, after 24% capital gains tax, about 60% gain in total.
However, as inflation has caused at least 50% loss of value over 25 years, then in absolute terms it has lost money.
Next, pension companies, like banks don’t like giving you your money. Despite the payout date being the 15th April, we only received the money after a lot of hassle and threats of issuing a wind up order to the company.
We received the money in the bank yesterday.
What seemed like a significant amount of money to my wife when she started the pension has turned into a relatively insignificant payout today. We are putting two thirds of the payout into Bitcoin and will be using the remainder to pay bills and for my wife to treat herself to a spa day or something similar.
This is the reality of the fiat world.

Fifth day of fasting. So far it was so easy it's weird. But I get that for obese person as me it's acceptable as long as it goes fine. I still feel somewhat full. But today I have cold fingers and everyone pisses me off. I guess I'd break it soon or something, just waiting for some real hunger or weakness to tell me it's time. It's so boring actually. 😩

I'm drinking lots of water, salty czech mineral water Vincentka for voice, bit of apple vinegar, detoxing dandelion root tea so awful it kills ANY desires and sometimes "break" the fast by something tiny - lick the spoon from honey or taste if rice is done. Also my husband gives me daily a ton of supplements - electrolytes, extra mag, D and fish oil and some ashwagandha, not even a clue what that is.
I did this once before, lost 20 kilos in three months back then. I waited if it comes again, the body is just fed up from overfeeding. Not starving myself, just listening to my body without the constant urges to snack. Last time I ended up in hospital with my kidneys - they dropped a lot of sand, nothing more, but it was painful, led to inflammation and I stayed for a few days. I'm honestly expecting some gallbladder stone if I lose weight (slower and on better food this time), when you're fat trash eater, there have to be some demons stored. But so far it's fine.

Bibi's war cabinet claims it will rescue the hostages and destroy Hamas, but hasn't succeeded in either one, in fact it has barely made progress towards either goal. The ceasefire and hostage trade that did happen was driven by the US, Bibi had to be pushed into doing it, and he quit early. I firmly disbelieve that Bibi cares about saving the hostages. Rather, he is trying to personally stay out of prison.
This war could end and many in Israel want it over. Bibi is certainly going to prison for corruption, but he is delaying it by keeping the nation at war which allows him to continue to lead via emegency provisions, even as the IDF is exhausted and Hamas isn't getting much smaller and the people are crying out to exchange hostages.

The IDF owes them nothing at all. Hamas is the government of Gaza, and it clearly has significant support among the population, particularly the wealthier segment who – if they disagreed – could just leave Gaza. Hell, Hamas got voted into power with a clear majority between them and even more extremist parties.
Worse, Oct 7th was _not_ solely Hamas. Roughly half of the murders and kidnappings were by "ordinary" Gazans who just decided to join in. And again, we see that support in how – unlike WW2 – there's no examples of Gazans helping hostages escape.
The onus was on Gazans as a whole to stop this violence rather than support it. They chose the latter.
Germany paid huge sums for WW2 reparations, including wide scale confiscation of private property. Hopefully Russia will as well. And for that matter, Iran.
Does Ukraine owe Russians anything for the large amount of Russian property destroyed and Russian "civilians" killed in the course of defending themselves? Of course not. Israel is no different.

不要着急作文，说实话，没有足够的阅读也写不出来，即使写出来的，也只是个人的一知半解。
阅读就是要由点到面，但这个面的范围还是不能太泛。它是点的波及，是这个的有点衍射出去的波面和整个晕圈，绝对不是整个湖面。
我们读书，有的时候，不能克制求知欲，以至于读书很多，却离自己研究的问题，或者说那个中心点，愈来愈远。结果，书读了，无以成文。这是读书之大忌。
真正的读书，它的所谓系统，其实就是从中心点到最外层的晕圈。读不到最外层，看不到整个波动的空间，就是不全面。但顾及到全面，却又茫然不知所措中心点，也不能建构整个问题的应答逻辑。
所谓读书要有系统，无非就是这样的由中心点到最外层晕圈，又从整个波动回到中心点的反复。
通过这种反复，就会催生整个知识链，最终达至对问题的全面回应与思考。
此乃读书要系统之要义。

Fold needs to let you transmit rewards over lightning, im suspicious that they don't let you do that. They only let you transmit purchased bitcoin over lightning. I wonder if I transferred rewards to my bitcoin wallet in Fold and then transferred it out on lightning if that would be the best way to do it?

Trezor Suite 25.5.1. has increased fee rate granularity. It’s better adapted to current low fee environment, but works even in other scenarios.

The Suite now closes instantly, which also makes it easier to quickly hide it in shared or public spaces. There are many other improvements - maily small UX fixes.

I agree. I am pro-Israeli. That is, I am for the people, and the right of people to exist and to be safe, and not to be forced to move to Europe. Which mirrors my pro-Palestinian belief, the right of those people to exist and be safe and not be bombed in the name of destroying Hamas, and not have their homes taken from them.
I don't believe in state's rights.
I'm glad a hostage was released.
And if I were a devout American, I would care about America first more than Israel. But I'm a New Zealander first so to me it's all just entertainment.

I find it fucking insane that Israel was stopping a US hostage from being rescued, and now that the US went around them and got him giving NOTHING in return, pro-Israel influencers are pissed off. If that doesn't shine a light on what is really going on, I don't know what will.
Things are looking up.
I think Trump has known what is going on for a long time, but it takes a lot of setup to do anything about it without being... um... 86ed.

The git commits themselves contain URLs to github. I'm not going to rewrite all the upstream's commits. Even if I successfully override this URL with a git configuration, I would still have to collect the objects from github which is bitching and not giving them to me because of the "budget".
As it turns out, having a copy of the file doesn't help because there are hundreds of files after that which I don't have a copy of.
