I haven't played with safebox for what seems like many many months since you first showed it to me when it was in development. I can check it out again, if I have time before Vegas. I can't guarantee anything though. I say this because when I looked at it a couple days ago it has increased in complexity and I don't know if I have time to test everything out beforehand. I don't know if I'd be confident enough to show it to people with a true understanding of how it works and what everything does without spending time with it.

If an act violates the Non-Aggression Principle (NAP) such as child abuse, the offender would face consequences. In many anarchist communities, punishments for such violations could be swift, severe, or even lethal.
However, since most societies operate under statist systems, we should focus on reforming the current legal framework to impose harsher penalties for child abusers, rather than continuing with lenient sentences. Just an idea that would help currently!

Eine einzelne E-Auto-Batterie ist etwa so groß wie ein großer Reisekoffer oder etwas mehr. 10.000 solcher Batterien (plus Kühlung, Wechselrichter, Schutzsysteme, Wartungsgänge) würden eine Fläche von mindestens mehreren Fußballfeldern (10.000-20.000 qm oder mehr) beanspruchen. Für die Versorgung einer ganzen Region oder gar eines Landes mit Industrie würde man Flächen in der Größenordnung von mehreren Hektar bis zu Quadratkilometern benötigen. Dies ist vergleichbar mit der Fläche, die ein großes Solarkraftwerk einnehmen würde, nur dass die Batterien deutlich dichter gepackt wären.
Moderne E-Auto-Batterien halten oft 1.500 bis 2.500 volle Zyklen (oder mehr bei Teilladungen), bevor ihre Kapazität auf 70-80% des Ursprungswertes fällt. Das kann heute schon jeder PV Anlagenbesitzer mit Batteriespeicher erleben, dessen Anlage ein paar Jahre auf dem Buckel hat. Da diese Batterien anscheinend gebraucht sind, ist der Wirkungsgrad und die Standzeit abzusehen. Second Life vllt 3-5 Jahre?
Das sind Gigaprojekte die auch finanziert werden wollen. Die brauchen alle viel Platz und eine entsprechende Infrastruktur. Die Technologie entwickelt sich schnell, aber die schiere Größe der benötigten Kapazität und die damit verbundenen Kosten und logistischen Herausforderungen machen dies derzeit zu einer sehr komplexen Aufgabe. Aktuelle großtechnische Batteriespeicher verwenden meist spezielle, für stationäre Anwendungen optimierte Batteriezellen, die oft langlebiger und robuster sind als typische Auto-Akkus.
Egal, man brauch eine andere Akkutechnologie und ich bin für diverse Energie und Anlageformen im Mix. Und das gerne dezentral und unabhängiger. Gerade von dem was eine globalisierten und autokratische Struktur aus Brüssel mit sich bringt. Bin da offen. Aber wir müssen endlich mal wieder kluge Menschen und Tüftler ran lassen und da ist die Politik zu verbohrt. Sonne und Wind schicken halt keine Rechnung. Alles für die Sekte. Alles für den Klimagott. Blood for the blood god.

I have a fiat client right now pulling a classic fiat move.
I shot 3 different locations, organized 6-7 actors and equipment- kayaks, a paddle board and even a sailboat.
Got a thumbs up after shoot 1 saying footage looks awesome. Knocked it out of the park for them and delivered the other 2 shoots, all the raw footage… 3 weeks later they say it’s “all unusable.”
8 years doing this professionally and I’ve never seen a client try to pull something this egregious. They’re now asking for a steeper discount (I already charged a minimum rate and over-delivered).
Does it frustrate me? Sure. But I’ll get my payment in full thanks to understanding how small claims court works :) hopefully we don’t have to go that far.
Back when I was operating a car detail business I had 2 clients refuse to pay after rendering service. Both times the threat of being served a court subpoena from a sheriff and having to cover all the legal expenses if they lose the case got them to think twice.
This is part of working for yourself. I won’t react aggressively at first. For now I’m offering to help their editor understand how to use the footage. I have a hunch this person is extremely new and just needs a little training.

I attended the RWE consultation in Bradenham today.
The people of Bradenham are not happy; an overwhelming majority that I spoke to do not want this project to go ahead.
When speaking to the consultants, I asked how we can ensure that the blackouts in Spain and Portugal do not happen here. They didn’t have an answer; the only reply I got was that the current infrastructure needs upgrading.
I also asked, since the current Labour government is experimenting with blocking the sun, why are we taking away arable land when surely this experiment will reduce the effectiveness of these solar farms? Yet again, they didn’t have an answer.
We are continually being made poorer in the crusade of net-zero lunacy by any means.
Solar needs to be a smaller part of our energy production due to our climate being the fifth worst in the world for solar!
What I simply don’t understand is how this will make our energy bills cheaper when they have to run gas alongside wind farms for when the wind isn’t blowing. So, what will they do when the sun isn’t shining?
Despite this, Labour is willing to reduce our food security, which will mean even more of our food being imported and making our food costs higher than they already are, therefore increasing the cost of living. 🤦🏻
