The more I explore Nostr—especially clients like Primal—the more limited it feels in some ways. I really prefer Damus overall, but I do like Primal’s Explore page.
I’ve tried Nostur, still getting used to it. Also heard some chatter about Yakihonne—curious to try it out.
I mostly use iOS and web.

If I were assembling one today I would use a 2 TB drive as the chain is currently around 660GB. It's only use half of those 8 GB though, which is one reason why fighting over mempool "spam" seems silly

If you try to turn profits in the incubation stage, you inevitably strangle growth and quality suffers.
That's why grants have turned out to be such a problematic model: people usually view them as personal income and spend them on rent and food, rather than seeing them as investment income in a business they are building, that should be reinvested in making that business grow. That's why they slow or stop working, when the grants run out, or they jump to some other project, to collect grant monies for that. They haven't bothered building something that *generates income*, so their economic incentive to continue the effort evaporates.
And that's why they only write code, rather than build infrastructure and processes: you can just drop code and walk away, with no bills, no staff, no contracts, and no further expectations of services delivered.

Coding is cheap, in comparison, but it's the only part you can't completely skip and still have software.

We actually have one of the biggest budgets, despite hardly any income. Easily pushing over $100k in engineering hours, so far. Building something solid takes time and costs a lot of money. It just does.

TBH, it's hard to hype it up when it's still a big construction zone. We're all waving our hands saying "you should see the architectural plans, they're great!" but all people see is a forest of timber and mounds of dirt.
Like you, we all have 9-5 jobs, so this is our slow-and-steady hobby project.

Btw. Gibt es in Deutschland das Parteienprivileg. Dieses schützt om Parlament vertretene Parteien vor der Beobachtung durch den Verfassungsschutz. Warum hat man das nochmal eingebaut? Ach ja weil sonst die Refieringsparteien die Opposition verbieten können. Das habt ihr selbsternannten Demokraten wohl nicht auf dem Plan.

Yes and no. You can have more than one wallet used for SENDING zaps, because that is set up separately for each client you use. However, you can only have one wallet at a time for RECEIV8NG, because that is set up in your profile, so anyone can zap you, regardless of which client you are using.

The later signals collapsing demand and economic stagnation, while the former reflects innovation and increased productivity.
As for whether money should have a hard cap, I lean toward a free market approach. Let the market decide what form of money serves it best. If a hard-capped currency is what people voluntarily choose, so be it. If they prefer a form of money with predictable inflation, cool. What matters is that it isn’t imposed by fiat because true value emerges through voluntary adoption, not coercion.
I know where I stand, but accept that I may be wrong.

If you have a #BTClock and haven’t updated for a year or longer, I highly recommend updating to the latest version via https://web-flasher.btclock.dev as the WebSocket API of the price data source (coincap.io) has been closed :( the latest version can use the BTClock data source, kraken or you can set up a self hosted one using https://git.btclock.dev/btclock/ws-go-server
Also it has a lot of new features like zap notifications and bitaxe mining stats integration
