Im sonst ruhigen Einsiedeln, einer bekannten und beschaulichen Gemeinde der Schweiz, eskalierte am Samstag, 22. Februar 2025, ein politischer Konflikt mit internationaler Brisanz.
Eine Demonstration gegen die deutsche AfD-Politikerin Alice Weidel, die mit ihrer Familie im Ort lebt, spaltete die Bevölkerung und sorgte für landesweite Diskussionen. Wissensgeist.TV war vor Ort und führte ein ausführliches Interview mit Nicolas A. Rimoldi, dem Präsidenten der Bürgerrechtsbewegung Mass-Voll! Sein Standpunkt: Die Protestaktion sei kein politischer Protest, sondern eine gezielte „Hexenjagd“ auf Weidel und ihre Familie. Doch die Proteste werfen weitreichendere Fragen auf – über Neutralität, Meinungsfreiheit und das Aufeinandertreffen verschiedener politischer Kulturen in der Schweiz.
Zwischen Demonstration und Einschüchterung
Die Demonstration, die unter dem Schlagwort „Demo gegen Rechts“ angekündigt wurde, reihe sich laut Nicolas A. Rimoldi in eine Serie von Aktionen ein, die nichts mit demokratischem Protest zu tun hätten. „Diese linksextremen Terroristen haben eine rote Linie überschritten, indem sie Familien und Kinder attackieren“, sagt der Präsident von Mass-Voll! „Es ist ein Krieg gegen Andersdenkende – ein Krieg, der mittlerweile brutal ist. Und es wird immer hässlicher, immer wüster. Das ist leider auch unsere Zukunft, wenn wir diese Entwicklungen nicht stoppen. Werden wir sie nicht aufhalten, dann wird es solche Demonstrationen auch bei uns in der Schweiz immer häufiger geben.“
Rimoldi kritisiert vor allem die zunehmende Zerstörung einer fundierten politischen Debattenkultur. „Es gibt keine fundierten gesellschaftlichen Debatten mehr. Stattdessen deckt man sich gegenseitig nur noch mit Schimpfwörtern, Schlagwörtern und Etiketten ein. Das Ziel ist längst nicht mehr, einen Dialog zu führen oder eine sachliche Debatte anzustreben. Die Politiker und Parteien – gerade in Deutschland – wollen keine Debatte. Sie wollen ihre Macht ungestört ausüben, ihre Vorteile wahren und ihre Privilegien teilen.“
Laut Rimoldi sind Bewegungen wie Mass-Voll! den Herrschenden ein Dorn im Auge. „Wir stören ihre Macht, wir stören ihre Ausbeutung, ihre Steuergeldverschwendung, ihre Kriegstreiberei, ihre Umweltzerstörung – all das stören wir. Deswegen will man mit uns gar nicht diskutieren und versucht nur, uns schlecht zu machen. Sie stellen Andersdenkende als unethische, moralisch wertlose Menschen dar, um sie zu delegitimieren.“
Missbrauch der Versammlungsfreiheit
Ein zentrales Thema, das Rimoldi im Interview hervorhebt, ist der Schutz der Versammlungsfreiheit. „Die Versammlungsfreiheit ist ein Grundrecht in der Schweiz, und es ist unabdingbar für eine freie Gesellschaft. Doch genau dieses Grundrecht wird gezielt missbraucht – wie heute hier in Einsiedeln. Diese Demonstration dient nicht der politischen Meinungsäusserung. Sie wird instrumentalisiert, um eine Privatperson persönlich anzugreifen und Stimmung gegen sie zu machen.“
Für Rimoldi müsse es klare Grenzen geben, die den Missbrauch der Versammlungsfreiheit verhindern und den Schutz des Privatlebens sowie der Familie gewährleisten. „Es kann nicht sein, dass ein linker Politiker solchen Krawalltouristen eine Kundgebungsbewilligung erteilt, gleichzeitig aber unserer friedlichen Bürgerbewegung Mass-Voll! eine solche verweigert. Das ist nicht nur moralisch falsch, das ist auch illegal“, erklärt Rimoldi.
