I am now %100 certain that I can build a permissionless, decentralized credential presentation and verification system.
In the example below, the only unencrypted channel is the visual invocation and acquisition of a #nauth presented as a QR code. Once acquired, the rest of the communication, including the request for, and presentation of a credential is done via negotiated encrypted channels.
The end user web apps (the UX front end of #safebox) only communicate to their own user; they do not directly communicate with one another. Actually, each app has no clue, nor cares where the other app is running. All inter-app communication is done in real-time using gift-wrapped encrypted messages.
It's the #nostr protocol that enables this. IMHO, the killer-app for #nostr is rather a killer-capability for every app tha wishes to securely communicate with any other app, so long as they have a #npub, and a pool of available relays.

i am saying how useful it can be if relay claim fake policies and do the opposite.
without being able to verify and no consequence if it is fake.
In a "perfect" trust world it is fine, but in this growing decentralized web of trust it is a little more harder.

You said it's going to be a niche. Now saying it will have scaling problems.
It can't be both.
I personally think that with the advance of tech combined with protocol improvements (i.e. 80% reduction in tx size with bulletproofs) and eventual layers like ZK Rollups there wont be any scaling problem. Also, what a nice problem to have. Monero becomes so popular it starts having scaling problems.
I think crypto in general will always be relatively niche because most people don't care about sovereignty/liberty.

All Cashu wallets let you use multiple mints. To reduce rug risk, we encourage users to leave only small amounts on each mint. This introduces a big UX challenge which forces users to distribute funds on different mints in a smart way. It's particularly problematic when you're trying to pay a bigger Lightning invoice from your small balances. Who has time for that?
The Lightning protocol allows nodes to split a single payment HTLC into multiple parts to increase the chance of reaching the destination, called Multi-Path Payments (MPP). Typically, that's done from one sender to one receiver. What if... you can just break the rules?
A multinut payment originates from multiple Lightning nodes to pay a single invoice, atomically. Even if none of your mint balances can cover an invoice, as long as your total balance is large enough, you can pay the invoice.
I don't think anyone was crazy enough to do this before. Pretty sure what you see here is the first invoice being paid using a CLN and an LND node at the same time. Long-term holders are quietly accumulating Bitcoin again. After price rallies, some dormant coins move, but during flat or falling markets, conviction strengthens and supply tightens. Over the last 30 days, long-term holders have added ~150,000 BTC to their wallets. This pattern has historically front-run major supply squeezes and parabolic moves. With seemingly few sellers left between $80K and $100K, the setup is forming: Bitcoin is running out of supply just as demand starts to return.

When you're working with someone, being able to change particularly stuff around the brain stem, that resets the tension, strain, and then there's a normal function.
