من المتوقع أن تصل قيمة العملات المستقرة المرتبطة بالدولار الأمريكي إلى قيمة سوقية إجمالية تبلغ حوالي 2 تريليون دولار بحلول عام 2028، وفقًا لتقرير وزارة الخزانة الأمريكية للربع الأول من عام 2025.
وتبلغ القيمة السوقية التراكمية للعملات المستقرة حاليًا حوالي 230 مليار دولار، لكن "ديناميكيات السوق المتطورة لديها القدرة على تسريع مسار العملات المستقرة للوصول إلى حوالي 2 تريليون دولار في القيمة السوقية بحلول عام 2028"، وفقًا لما ذكرته وزارة الخزانة في تقريرها الصادر في 30 أبريل.
العملة المستقرة هي عملة مشفرة ترتبط قيمتها بأصل تقليدي كالدولار الأمريكي. ووفقًا للتقرير، تُستخدم هذه الرموز على نطاق واسع كـ "نقد على السلسلة"، ما يجعلها فعليًا آلية دفع جديدة.
بالإضافة إلى ذلك، فإن ظهور "صناديق سوق المال المميزة قد خلق مؤخرًا خيارًا بديلاً للعملات المستقرة، وذلك في المقام الأول نظرًا لميزتها التي تحمل العائد"، وفقًا للتقرير.
ويعد التقرير أحدث مثال على كيفية تبني الحكومة الأمريكية لتكنولوجيا blockchain، خاصة بعد أن بدأ الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترامب فترة ولايته الثانية في 20 يناير.
سبق لوزارة الخزانة الأمريكية أن أيدت العملات المشفرة في ديسمبر ، مشيرةً إلى أن هذه التقنية تُبشّر بإنشاء "بنية تحتية جديدة للسوق المالية"، مما قد يزيد الطلب العالمي على سندات الخزانة الأمريكية. وتستثمر العملات المستقرة المرتبطة بالدولار الأمريكي، مثل تيثر USDT وUSDC، دعمها بالعملات الورقية في أدوات مالية تُدرّ عائدًا، مثل سندات الخزانة الأمريكية.
"وبما أن معظم ضمانات العملات المستقرة تتكون من سندات الخزانة أو معاملات اتفاقية إعادة الشراء المدعومة من الخزانة، فإن النمو في العملات المستقرة أدى على الأرجح إلى زيادة متواضعة في الطلب على الأوراق المالية قصيرة الأجل الصادرة عن الخزانة"، حسبما ذكرت وزارة الخزانة في ديسمبر
وفي تقريرها لشهر أبريل، قالت وزارة الخزانة الأمريكية إن التشريع المعلق بشأن العملات المستقرة "سيلزم مصدري العملات المستقرة بالاحتفاظ بسندات الخزانة [قصيرة الأجل]"، وبالتالي تعزيز الارتباط بين اعتماد العملات المستقرة والطلب على سندات الخزانة الأمريكية.
وأشار التقرير أيضًا إلى أن انتشار العملات المستقرة قد يضع ضغوطًا على البنوك التجارية لدفع أسعار فائدة أعلى للمودعين.
واعتبارًا من 25 أبريل، أصبحت عملة USDT التابعة لـ Tether هي العملة المستقرة المهيمنة ، حيث تسيطر على حوالي 66% من حصة السوق، وفقًا لتقرير صادر عن الباحث Nansen.
وفقًا لـ CoinGecko، تبلغ القيمة السوقية للرمز حوالي 150 مليار دولار . وتحتل USDC التابعة لـ Circle المرتبة الثانية، بقيمة سوقية بلغت حوالي 60 مليار دولار اعتبارًا من 30 أبريل.

Happy Friday Nostr - how has your week been?
Finally power is back. We had a pretty large area impacted with the latest weather. I made the best of it by using the time as a digital sort of detox. No TV, no feeds, no lights besides the glow of a couple lanterns. Living in a house from the 1800s in this circumstance just magnified the luxury of modern life. I felt like a real cowboy for a few moments. 10/10 would do again.
Also, my umbrel node on my raspi 4 has held up incredibly wel. It continues to just work, even in strange situations where my power is cut instantly - it just picks up where it left off.

no, i wouldn’t say i’m friends with any core people. I only know them from the brief times i’ve interacted with them at conferences and from PR interactions. Just chatting with them made me impressed with their depth of knowledge.
sipa blocked me on twitter because i said c++ sucks, last time i interacted with peter todd in person we got in an argument. I like luke and chatted with him at dinner in las vegas.
I’d say the person i’ve chatted with the most is sjors and 0xb10c since I was working on some of the wallet/gui and tracepoints at one point.
