I came across PeerSwap the other day when looking over the apps that are installable on Umbrel. I had never heard of it before. I'm curious if any stackers have heard of it or used it. Do you have opinions? I have experience with a couple other tools like Boltz and Lightning Loop but not PeerSwap.

Here's what their site says.

PeerSwap enables Lightning Network nodes to balance their channels by facilitating atomic swaps with direct peers. PeerSwap enhances decentralization of the Lightning Network by enabling all nodes to be their own swap provider. No centralized coordinator, no 3rd party rent collector, and lowest cost channel balancing means small nodes can better compete with large nodes.

PeerSwap currently has a working implementation for both CLN and LND nodes.

At the moment PeerSwap is suitable for power node operators with Linux command line skills. Implementations of control panel GUI interfaces are currently underway which will make PeerSwap easier to use for ordinary end users.

Dánia fontolgatja a 40 éve érvényben lévő atomerőmű-tilalom feloldását, hogy javítsa energiaellátásának biztonságát, és elkerülje az olyan áramszüneteket, mint amilyenek múlt hónapban Spanyolországot és Portugáliát sújtották – közölte az ország energiaügyi minisztere.

Lars Aagaard a dán Politiken napilapnak május 13-án elmondta, hogy a koppenhágai centrista koalíció egy évig elemzi majd az atomenergia újbóli bevezetésének előnyeit és hátrányait.

„Láthatjuk, hogy fejlődés zajlik az új atomenergia-technológiák, például a kis moduláris reaktorok terén” – mondta Aagaard.

„De önmagában nem elég, hogy ezekben lehetőség rejlik. Azt is tudnunk kell, mit jelentene a dán társadalom számára, ha lehetővé tennénk ezeknek a technológiáknak a bevezetését” – tette hozzá.

Dán milliárdos alapja támogatja az atomenergiát

Múlt hónapban Joachim Ante dán milliárdos által támogatott alap bejelentette, hogy 350 millió eurót kíván összegyűjteni a fejlett atomenergia-ipar és annak ellátási láncának támogatására. A 92 Capital az atomenergia újjáéledésére számít, mivel egyre nagyobb az aggodalom az energiaellátás biztonsága miatt.

Ante, aki a Unity nevű videojáték-szoftvercéget alapította, eddig 50 millió eurót fektetett be saját vagyonából.

Az alap korábbi változata, a 92 Ventures, befektetett a svéd Blykalla és a finn Steady Energy cégekbe, amelyek mind kis moduláris reaktorok fejlesztésén dolgoznak.

Az USA felgyorsítja a Utah-i uránprojektet, miközben Trump az „energia-válság” megoldására törekszik

Az amerikai belügyminisztérium bejelentette, hogy gyorsított környezetvédelmi engedélyezési eljárás alá vonja az Anfield Energy által javasolt Velvet-Wood uránbánya projektet Utah államban, hogy elősegítse Donald Trump elnök törekvését a hazai energiatermelés növelésére.

Ennek eredményeként a projekt környezeti felülvizsgálata mindössze 14 nap alatt lezajlik – közölte a minisztérium.

Az ilyen vizsgálatok általában évekig tartanak az uránbányászat lehetséges környezeti hatásai miatt.

A kanadai Anfield Energy szerint a Velvet-Wood az első uránprojekt, amelyet az amerikai kormány gyorsított eljárásban kezel Trump energiafüggetlenségi vészhelyzeti nyilatkozata alapján. A cég szerint ez „határozott elmozdulás a hazai nukleáris üzemanyag-ellátás szövetségi támogatása felé”.

Doug Burgum belügyminiszter szerint Amerika riasztó energiavészhelyzettel néz szembe az előző kormányzat „klímaszélsőséges” politikája miatt.

„Trump elnök és kormánya gyorsasággal és erővel válaszol, hogy megoldja ezt a válságot” – mondta.

„A bányászati projekt gyorsított felülvizsgálata pontosan az a határozott lépés, amelyre szükségünk van energia-jövőnk biztosításához.”

Ha jóváhagyják, a San Juan megyében lévő Velvet-Wood bánya uránt termelne, amelyet atomerőművek üzemanyagaként és nukleáris fegyverek előállításához is használnak, valamint vanádiumot, amely akkumulátorokban vagy acél és más ötvözetek erősítésére használható.

A belügyminisztérium szerint a projekt egy korábbi bányászati művelet helyszínén valósulna meg, és csak három hektárnyi új felszíni zavarás keletkezne.

Az Anfield tulajdonában van a Shootaring Canyon uránfeldolgozó üzem is Utah-ban, amelyet újraindítani tervez. Ez az üzem az uránércet urán-koncentrátummá alakítaná, amely atomerőművek üzemanyagaként használható.

Brüsszel „jelentős kockázatot” lát a Dukovany atomerőmű projektben a tisztességtelen állami támogatás miatt

Brüsszel „jelentős” kockázatot lát abban, hogy a dél-koreai cég, amely elnyerte a két új atomerőmű szállítására kiírt szerződést a csehországi Dukovany telephelyére, tisztességtelen állami támogatásban részesült.

A Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power (KHNP), az állami Kepco leányvállalata, a francia állami EDF és az amerikai Westinghouse előtt nyerte el a szerződést.

Brüsszel azonban arra kérte a cseh kormányt, hogy függessze fel a szerződést, amíg az EU külföldi támogatásokról szóló rendelete alapján döntés nem születik, amely az uniós vállalatokat hivatott védeni a jelentős állami támogatásban részesülő külföldi versenytársakkal szemben.

Stéphane Séjourné, az EU belső piacért felelős biztosa május 2-i levelében azt írta, hogy „jelentős jelek” utalnak arra, hogy a KHNP állami támogatásban részesült, ami torzíthatja az unió belső piacát, és tisztességtelen előnyt adhat az európai versenytársakkal szemben.

Dél-Korea és Csehország megerősítette elkötelezettségét az atomerőmű-szerződés aláírása mellett, a bírósági döntés ellenére is.

Sajtóhírek szerint a cseh kormány május 7-i ülésén közölte, hogy az EDU II a lehető leghamarabb folytatja a szerződéskötést a KHNP-vel két atomerőmű építésére.

A két új, nagy kapacitású APR1400 típusú blokkot a KHNP szállítja, és a dél-csehországi Dukovany atomerőmű meglévő telephelyén építik fel, mintegy 50 kilométerre az osztrák határtól.

Az eredetileg május 7-re tervezett szerződéskötést elhalasztották, miután bírósági végzést adtak ki az EDF jogi kifogása miatt.

Vizsgálati program bizonyítja a szállítható atomerőművek robusztusságát – állítja a Prodigy

Egy elsőként végrehajtott vizsgálati program bizonyítja, hogy a szállítható atomerőművek képesek ellenállni baleseti és veszélyhelyzeti forgatókönyveknek – és kritikus adatokat szolgáltat a kereskedelmi engedélyezés támogatásához 2030-ig.

A kanadai Prodigy Clean Energy és a Serco közölte, hogy a vizsgálatokat részben a kanadai szövetségi kormány 2,7 millió kanadai dolláros támogatása finanszírozta, amely a kis moduláris reaktorok fejlesztését célozza.

A Prodigy szerint szállítható atomerőművei tengeri létesítményben készülnek, majd a helyszínre szállítják őket, így gyors telepítési megoldást kínálnak az új atomenergia gyors és versenyképes költségű bevezetésére.

A cég lényegében „csomagolja” a kis moduláris reaktorokat és mikroreaktorokat előre gyártott, áthelyezhető erőművi szerkezetekbe. Az egységek kombinálhatók, így 5 megawattól 1000 megawattig terjedő kapacitás érhető el.

„A szállítható atomerőművek nagyon kis partszakaszt igényelnek, és testre szabhatók reaktortípus és méret szerint” – közölte a cég.

Azt is közölték, hogy a brit központú Serco-val együttműködve tesztelik a szállítható atomerőművek ellenállását és szerkezeti teljesítményét „a legnehezebb körülmények között”, beleértve a repülőgép-becsapódást és hajóütközést; földrengést, jeget és más szélsőséges időjárási és óceáni eseményeket; tüzet és árvizet; valamint a belső rakétabecsapódás elleni ellenállást.

„A Prodigy elvégzi a szükséges munkát, hogy a szállítható atomerőművek időben piacra kerülhessenek Észak-Amerikában” – mondta Mathias Trojer, a cég elnök-vezérigazgatója.

Hozzátette, hogy a Prodigy reaktortechnológiái mostanra elérték azt a szintet, hogy részletes mérnöki együttműködéseket indíthatnak komoly partnerekkel.

A Prodigy szerint szállítható atomerőművei szén-dioxid-mentes alapterhelést tudnak biztosítani távoli bányák, közösségek, védelmi létesítmények és sarkvidéki adatközpontok számára.

• Szerb atomenergia-tanulmány június végére készül el: Előzetes tanulmány készül Szerbia atomenergia-használatáról, amely a második negyedév végére várható. A francia állami energiaszolgáltató EDF és a francia Egis Industries mérnöki vállalat nyerte el a tanulmány elkészítésére kiírt pályázatot, amely egy lehetséges nukleáris program ütemtervét is tartalmazza. Szerbiában nincs kereskedelmi atomerőmű, de tavaly öt minisztérium együttműködési megállapodást írt alá húsz tudományos és állami energetikai intézménnyel az első atomerőmű telepítésének lehetőségét vizsgálva.

• Az U3O8 spot árfolyama kissé emelkedett, de bizonytalanság marad: Az amerikai TradeTech szerint az U3O8 spot árfolyama 70 dollár fontonként, ami 7,7%-os emelkedés áprilishoz képest, de év eleje óta 7,9%-kal alacsonyabb. A középtávú ár 72 dollár, a hosszú távú ár 80 dollár fontonként. A bizonytalanság oka többek között az USA és Oroszország közötti kapcsolatok javításának nehézségei, valamint az amerikai mesterséges intelligencia-fejlesztések energiaigénye, miközben a kínai versenytársak hatékonyabbak.

• Tanulmány a skót nukleáris leszerelési program hosszú távú előnyeiről: Skócia 25 milliárd fontos nukleáris leszerelési programja jelentős hosszú távú gazdasági és társadalmi előnyöket hozhat országos és helyi szinten a következő 90 évben és azon túl is. Három nukleáris létesítmény van Skóciában leszerelési fázisban: Dounreay, Hunterston A és Chapelcross. A Hunterston B-t jelenleg üzemanyag-mentesítik, a Torness és a Vulcan is hamarosan leszerelési fázisba lép.

Es ist nicht anders zu erklären: Wir erleben die Verschwörung fast aller Politiker (jetzt schon die 2. Garde herausragender Geistesgrößen), Institutionen (NGOs), Behörden (RKI, PEI), Gerichte und die öffentlich-rechtlichen Medien gemeinsam gegen die Wahrheit. Erkennungszeichen: Der in Moral getauchte erhobene Zeigefinger als neuer deutscher Gruß. Das ist Größenwahn!

Dies wird jedoch nur von einem kleinen Teil der Gesellschaft wahrgenommen, weil der weitaus größere Teil nach wie vor die Wahrheit nicht hören will.

Aktuelles Beispiel: Das war sicher nur eine Rotzfahne, die Herr Macron, bekannt für sein schlechtes Benehmen, auf dem Tisch liegen lassen hat, nachdem er sich geschnäuzt hatte. Und Herr Merz hat mit einer Büroklammer gespielt, die wie ein Speitel aussah.

Das ist ein psychologisches Ding, und die Frage ist, warum manche immun gegen Propaganda und Manipulation sind und viele leider nicht.

Deutschland macht sich sowohl innen- als auch außenpolitisch immer mehr zur Deppen-Insel. Während außerhalb Friedensbemühungen stattfinden, droht der Blackrock-Spargel 2. Wahl weiter mit neuen Sanktionen, die in der Vergangenheit schon nicht gewirkt haben. Die Beschlagnahmung russischer Gelder kann dazu führen, dass europäische Gelder im Ausland ebenso beschlagnahmt werden, und das könnte das Ende des Euro bedeuten, was an sich nicht das Problem wäre, wenn die Menschen nicht unter einer Finanzkrise zu leiden hätten. „Der kleine Mann“ war ja von je her immer schon der Doofe.

Taurus ist immer noch nicht endgültig vom Tisch. Es kommt gar nicht darauf an, dass die Lieferung den Kriegsverlauf nicht beeinflussen würde, sondern vielmehr darauf, dass sich spätestens hier Wiesbaden, Düsseldorf-Rheinmetall, Garmisch-Patenkirchen und die Waffenindustrie am Bodensee zu einem legitimen Ziel für Russland machen würden.

Innenpolitisch kommen die in der Corona-Zeit erprobten, bewährten und loyalen Systemlinge aus den Medien in Sprecherpositionen in die Bundespressekonferenz-Show oder ins Innenministerium. Eine Ex-Ministerin landet sanft im Desinformations-Bekämpfungs-Ausschuss, wo sie aufgrund ihrer eigenen Praxiserfahrung in Desinformieren bestens aufgehoben ist.

Ein anderer Minister wechselt in den Ausschuss für „Peterchens Mondfahrt“. Ganz oben auf der Agenda: Rheinländer im Weltall.

Die ehemalige Chef-Diplomatin, die bis heute noch nicht verstanden hat, dass Diplomatie nicht das Ausstellen von Diplomen bedeutet, landet hunderttausende von Kilometern entfernt in Nju Jörg, um ein paar Brocken Englisch zu lernen. Der Speck der Hoffnung stirbt zuletzt, möge die Übung gelingen.

Alles zusammen erzeugt so viel Unterdruck, der geeignet ist, eine Implosion herbeizuführen.

Der Widerstand kann stolz auf die vielen engagierten Menschen sein, die sich über Jahre nicht haben brechen lassen und unbeirrt das Schild der Freiheit, der Demokratie, der Meinungsfreiheit, das Grundgesetz, das Recht und die Würde des Menschen hochhalten.

Die staatlichen Schikanen, die spätestens mit Corona ihren Anfang genommen haben, hier aber auf jeden Fall sichtbar geworden sind, haben sowohl das Schlimmste, als auch das Beste im Menschen hervorgerufen. Die Spaltung hat zwangsläufig erfolgen müssen, weil die Widerständler, im Sinne eines sich gegen das Volk richtenden Systems, immer wieder auf die Ja-Sager zugegangen sind, diese jedoch die Wiederaufnahme eines Dialogs weitgehend abgelehnt haben. Sei es durch aktive Verwehrung, oder durch passives Schweigen und Ignorieren.

All diese Schikanen, die Lügen, Weglassungen, Verdrehungen haben auch etwas Gutes: Sie haben bei vielen Menschen das Denken geschult und noch einmal ganz bewusst gemacht, wie wichtig die Freiheit ist. Sie haben erkannt, dass sie keine Naturgewalt ist und dass es nötig ist, sich für sie einzusetzen, wenn Kräfte am Werk sind, die sie abschaffen wollen.

Ja, dem Widerstand geht es um die Freiheit. Die Freiheit im Denken, im Fühlen und im Wollen. Und seit Corona auch im freien Atmen.

Denjenigen, die glauben, dass all ihre Schreiben, Berechnungen, Posts, Videos und Kanäle bis heute nichts gebracht haben, denen sei gesagt:

Doch, ihr habt die Aufklärung übernommen, die eigentlich von staatlicher Seite her hätte erfolgen müssen.

Alle Fakten sind sauber recherchiert und liegen auf dem Tisch. Das alles war und ist nicht umsonst.

Da an die Tatsachenverbreitung derjenigen Medien, die zur Verschwörung gehören, nicht zu denken ist, machen wir es eben selbst. Das dauert vielleicht länger, aber die Wahrheit hat sich am Ende immer durchgesetzt. Nicht verzagen, steter Tropfen höhlt den Stein.

Und seien wir doch mal ehrlich: Würden wir freiwillig an dem Ast sägen, auf dem wir sitzen, wenn wir in deren misslicher Lage wären? Es kann nur weiter gelogen werden, weil in einigen temperamentvolleren Ländern als Deutschland, die Bevölkerung kurzen Prozess machen würde. Daraus könnte ein Domino-Effekt entstehen, und der ist unter allen Umständen zu verhindern.

Es wäre noch nicht einmal undenkbar, diejenigen weiter in der Matrix leben zu lassen, denen die Realität und Tatsachen zu anstrengend sind, wenn gewährleistet würde, dass diejenigen, die sich entschieden haben die rote Pille zu schlucken, in Ruhe gelassen würden. Derzeit hat man eher den Eindruck, es wird mit allen Mitteln versucht, diese Menschen wieder ins System zurücksaugen zu wollen. Sei es mit dem Digital Services Act, Hausdurchsuchungen, Kontenkündigungen, Jobverlust, Existenzvernichtung oder anderen Maßnahmen, die geeignet sind, Exempel zu statuieren, die andere einschüchtern sollen, ja nicht auch auf die Idee zu kommen, sich dem System entgegenzustellen und die falschen Fragen laut auszusprechen.

Kein Mensch hat das Recht zu gehorchen!

Wir wollen keine Tyrannei der Mehrheit. Die breite Masse der Gesellschaft ist immer schon mit dem Strom geschwommen, sei es aus Bequemlichkeit, aus Unvermögen oder aus Desinteresse. Kein Wecker kann hier laut genug klingeln, um sie aufzuwecken.

Die Diplomatie in Deutschland wurde abgeschafft. Nicht, weil erkannt wurde, dass sie in der heutigen Zeit nicht mehr funktioniert, sondern weil diejenigen, die es können müssten, mangels fachlicher, sachlicher und menschlicher Qualifikation dazu nicht in der Lage sind. Diplomatisches Unvermögen und eine ordentliche Portion Russenhass scheinen unbedingtes Einstellungskriterium zu sein, um in Verantwortung zu kommen. Wer in Drohen eine Eins hatte, ist ganz vorne dabei.

Es ist ein unverschämter Raub von Lebenszeit der Beklagten, wie z. B. Ballweg, Füllmich, Guérot, der nur dazu dient, Exempel zu statuieren, um zu zeigen, wie das System seine Muskeln spielen lassen kann, wenn man nicht so funktioniert, wie es sich das System wünscht. Aber auch hier und da gibt es noch Richter, die ihrem Gewissen verpflichtet sind, unterstützt von unermüdlichen Anwälten, die sich der Rechtspflege und nicht dem Rechtsverdrehen verpflichtet sehen. Deutschland hat gute Gesetze, wenn sie nur schon wieder vollumfänglich gelten würden. Nicht kritische Stimmen delegitimieren den Staat, sondern der sogenannte Staat verbiegt die Rechtsprechung zu seinen Gunsten, auf die wir uns alle geeinigt haben und die für uns alle gilt.

Und sogar in der Medizin gibt es noch Ärzte mit Gewissen, denen der Satz „Primum non nocere“ oberste Pflicht und Berufsehre ist. Deren Aufgabe wäre es, das bei dem kritischen Teil des Volkes nicht mehr vorhandene Vertrauen, nach allen Regeln der Heilkunst wieder herzustellen. Begleitet durch die Forderung der Abschaffung der Fallpauschalen und das Wiederabschaffen der verordneten Gewinnorientierung zugunsten eines möglichst wirtschaftlich arbeitenden Gesundheitsbetriebes. Besonderer Respekt wäre hier der Generation zu zollen, die dieses Land wiederaufgebaut hat, nachdem ein Irrer es wiederholt in Schutt und Asche gelegt hat.

Ein Neuanfang ist schon mit dem ständigen Wachsen der Neuen Medien getan. Wer schaut sich noch den einseitig-selbstherrlichen Dreck im Staatsfunk an oder liest eine Zeitung aus dem Neues-Deutschland-Verlag?

Der tägliche Wahnsinn mit einem schier unerschöpflichen Potenzial für neue Absurditäten zehrt an denjenigen, die der Gehirnwäsche erfolgreich widerstanden haben. Und wenn es auch Tage der Niedergeschlagenheit gibt, am nächsten Tag wird die Krone zurechtgerückt und weitergemacht, ok? Niemals vergessen: Wir, die wir offensichtlich bei Verstand geblieben sind, können jeden Morgen in den Spiegel schauen, wir sind aufrichtig und haben ein Rückgrat. Wir sind keine wirbellosen Nacktschnecken, die eine klebrige Schleimspur hinter sich herziehen und zu nichts anderem taugen, als anderen auf den Wecker zu gehen und das Leben schwer zu machen.

Wir sind keine egoistischen Speichellecker, die nur darauf bedacht sind, irgendwie mit dem Kopf über Wasser zu bleiben, weil sie sich eingeredet haben, dass sie davonkommen:

„Wird schon gut gehen. Wir sind auf der Seite der Gewinner. Wir sind die Stärkeren. Wir halten zusammen. Gegen uns kommen diese Deppen sowieso nicht an.“

Ich bin der Teil von jener Kraft, die Böses will und Gutes schafft.

Wir werden sehen, wer hier die Hosen anhat: Die Wahrheit oder der Wahnsinn.

Has the architect Greg Chasen considered it when rebuilding the house just one year before the catastrophe? Apparently not! Another of his projects was featured on the Value of Architecture as properties with design integrity.

This is a super interesting subject. The historic character, livability, and modern disaster-resistance is a triangle where you often have to pick just one or two, which leads to some tough decisions that have major impacts on families and communities. Like one of the things he mentions is that the architect completely eliminated plants from the property. That's great for fire resistance, but not so great for other things if the entire town decides to go the same route (which he does bring up later in the video). I don't think there's any objectively right answer, but definitely lots of good (and important) discussion points to be had.

Shanghai: Bus Stops Here

A new crowd-sourced transit platform allows riders to propose, vote on, and activate new bus lines in as little as three days.

From early-morning school drop-offs to seniors booking rides to the hospital, from suburban commuters seeking a faster link to the metro to families visiting ancestral graves, Shanghai is rolling out a new kind of public bus — one that’s designed by commuters, and launched only when enough riders request it.

Branded “DZ” for dingzhi, or “customized,” the system invites residents to submit proposed routes through a city-run platform. Others with similar travel needs can opt in or vote, and if demand meets the threshold — typically 15 to 20 passengers per trip — the route goes live.

More than 220 DZ routes have already launched across all 16 city districts. Through an online platform opened May 8, users enter start and end points, preferred times, and trip frequency. If approved, routes can begin running in as little as three days.

The developers, Hanger 13, along with the publisher, 2K Games, have announced that Mafia: The Old Country, a third-person action adventure game, will be releasing on both PC (Steam) and consoles on the 8th of August 2025, and with it they've released a new gameplay trailer.

In case you haven’t noticed, I’ve spent a lot of time reading Revelation lately. Last night, I was reading the letters to the seven churches in Revelation. It got me thinking about the church or churches today.

“To the angel of the church in Laodicea write:

The Amen, the faithful and true Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God, says this:

‘I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot; I wish that you were cold or hot. So because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of My mouth. Because you say, “I am rich, and have become wealthy, and have need of nothing,” and you do not know that you are wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked, I advise you to buy from Me gold refined by fire so that you may become rich, and white garments so that you may clothe yourself, and that the shame of your nakedness will not be revealed; and eye salve to anoint your eyes so that you may see. Those whom I love, I reprove and discipline; therefore be zealous and repent. Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me. He who overcomes, I will grant to him to sit down with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.’ ” (Revelation 3:14-22)

Sadly the church in Revelation, that the majority of American churches most closely resembles, is the church in Laodicea. (FYI, like most large generalizations, there are exceptions, of course)

Last I heard, America still had the most churches, Christian book stores, Christian radio stations, etc., but is America still the most Christian? I strongly have my doubts. Most modern, American churches seem to be more about socialization, entertainment, and making people feel good about themselves, even if what they really need is repentance. I even have doubts that many institutions that call themselves churches are churches (as defined by God) or have any true believers as members.

‘I know your tribulation and your poverty (but you are rich), and the blasphemy by those who say they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan. (Revelation 2:9)

Although this verse is referring to those who call themselves Jews and are not, I think we are seeing those who say they are Christians and are not, but are a church of Satan. Of course this is definitely not true of all churches.

The most common thing I see, though, is the lukewarm churches, where members show up on Sunday, check that off their list, and then go on living life like everyone else around them. Surveys show that rates of divorce, abortion, and other anti-biblical choices are as common among self-proclaimed Christians as among those who claim no faith.

These churches hear the Bible, but don’t hunger for the Word of God. They listen to God’s commands, but don’t live them out in their daily lives. Just like the Pharisees, they have the trappings of religion, but not the spirit of God. Worship is singing along with a rock band rather than falling on their face in awe of their Creator.

Just like what was predicted:

For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires, and will turn away their ears from the truth and will turn aside to myths. (2 Timothy 4:3-4) {emphasis mine}

Church services become self-help services. The word of God gets subverted by culture and “science.” Some church leaders intentionally ignore certain passages and take others out of context, so they will be popular and have growth. Sadly a growth in “butts in seats” is not what matters, if it isn’t accompanied by a growth in trust in Jesus and a growth in discipleship. These churches give a lot of people the false hope that they will be going to Heaven when they die. They will be shocked to hear “I never knew you.”

“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness.’ (Matthew 7:21-23) {emphasis mine}

Like the church in Laodicea, the church in America is rich in material wealth compared to others. Like the church in Laodicea, the American church relies too much on their wealth and freedom instead of putting their faith in God through good times and bad. Like the church in Laodicea, the American church has the trappings of faith without the reality of faith as shown by works (lifestyle). Most unfortunately, like the church in Laodicea, the American church is full of people who will almost certainly hear “I never knew you.”

What does Jesus say the solution is? “Be zealous and repent.”

Nothing in life should be more important to us than our relationship with our Creator and Savior. If we’ve relegated Him to the margins, we need to repent. We need to turn back to God and seek Him first.

Do not worry then, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear for clothing?’ For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. (Matthew 6:31-33) {emphasis mine}

Even if we aren’t actively doing evil, it is so easy to get distracted by life and not include God in our lives. Instead of God being just someone who we worship for and hour or two on Sunday morning and pray to at meals, He should be our guiding force for all things in our lives. He should be our focus and guiding light. We should long for His word and study the Bible daily. We should seek His guidance in decisions big and small. We should interact with others with the same goals and love as Jesus did when He was living a mortal life on earth. Our lives should look different.

I love what was said about Jesus’s disciples:

Now as they observed the confidence of Peter and John and understood that they were uneducated and untrained men, they were amazed, and began to recognize them as having been with Jesus. (Acts 4:13) {emphasis mine}

I want everyone who meets me to see Jesus in me and recognize that I have been with Jesus. Do you? Or do you want to blend in and look like those around you because that is easier and more comfortable?

Now for this very reason also, applying all diligence, in your faith supply moral excellence, and in your moral excellence, knowledge, and in your knowledge, self-control, and in your self-control, perseverance, and in your perseverance, godliness, and in your godliness, brotherly kindness, and in your brotherly kindness, love. For if these qualities are yours and are increasing, they render you neither useless nor unfruitful in the true knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. For he who lacks these qualities is blind or short-sighted, having forgotten his purification from his former sins. Therefore, brethren, be all the more diligent to make certain about His calling and choosing you; for as long as you practice these things, you will never stumble; for in this way the entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will be abundantly supplied to you. (2 Peter 1:5-11) {emphasis mine}

Peter gives some good advice on becoming more Christ-like and fruitful. He tells us to apply all diligence in:

• faith

• moral excellence

• perseverance

• godliness

• brotherly kindness

• love

He tells us that lacking these traits is “blind or short-sighted” and leads to us being unfruitful and useless. I don’t know about you, but I do NOT want Jesus to think of me as useless.

May the God of heaven increase your faith, grow your desire to know God through prayer and study of His Word, and help you to live the life you were designed to live. May he help you to avoid worldly distractions and to have the strength to stand firm on the foundation of Jesus especially when this means you have to stand up against the crowd. May you be fruitful and useful all of the days of your life.

It seems like every other day there's another company announced that is going public with the intent of competing with Strategy by leveraging capital markets to create financial instruments to acquire Bitcoin in a way that is accretive for shareholders. This is certainly a very interesting trend, very bullish for bitcoin in the short-term, and undoubtedly making it so bitcoin is top of mind in the mainstream. I won't pretend to know whether or not these strategies will ultimately be successful or fail in the short, medium or long term. However, one thing I do know is that the themes that interest me, both here at TFTC and in my role as Managing Partner at Ten31, are companies that are building good businesses that are efficient, have product-market-fit, generate revenues and profits and roll those profits into bitcoin.

While it seems pretty clear that Strategy has tapped into an arbitrage that exists in capital markets, it's not really that exciting. From a business perspective, it's actually pretty straightforward and simple; find where potential arbitrage opportunities exists between pools of capital looking for exposure to spot bitcoin or bitcoin's volatility but can't buy the actual asset, and provide them with products that give them access to exposure while simultaneously creating a cult-like retail following. Rinse and repeat. To the extent that this strategy is repeatable is yet to be seen. I imagine it can expand pretty rapidly. Particularly if we have a speculative fervor around companies that do this. But in the long run, I think the signal is falling back to first principles, looking for businesses that are actually providing goods and services to the broader economy - not focused on the hyper-financialized part of the economy - to provide value and create efficiencies that enable higher margins and profitability.

With this in mind, I think it's important to highlight the combined leverage that entrepreneurs have by utilizing bitcoin treasuries and AI tools that are emerging and becoming more advanced by the week. As I said in the tweet above, there's never been a better time to start a business that finds product-market fit and cash flows quickly with a team of two to three people. If you've been reading this rag over the last few weeks, you know that I've been experimenting with these AI tools and using them to make our business processes more efficient here at TFTC. I've also been using them at Ten31 to do deep research and analysis.

It has become abundantly clear to me that any founder or entrepreneur that is not utilizing the AI tools that are emerging is going to get left behind. As it stands today, all anyone has to do to get an idea from a thought in your head to the prototype stage to a minimum viable product is to hop into something like Claude or ChatGPT, have a brief conversation with an AI model that can do deep research about a particular niche that you want to provide a good service to and begin building.

It took me a few hours of work over the span of a week to ideate and iterate on the concept to the point where I had a working prototype that I handed off to a developer who is solving the last mile problem I have as an "idea guy" of getting the product to market. Only six months ago, accomplishing something like this would have been impossible for me. I've never written a line of code that's actually worked outside of the modded MySpace page I made back in middle school. I've always had a lot of ideas but have never been able to effectively communicate them to developers who can actually build them. With a combination of ChatGPT-03 and Replit, I was able to build an actual product that works. I'm using it in my browser today. It's pretty insane.

There are thousands of people coming to the same realization at the same time right now and going out there and building niche products very cheaply, with small teams, they are getting to market very quickly, and are amassing five figures, six figures, sometimes seven figures of MRR with extremely high profit margins. What most of these entrepreneurs have not really caught on to yet is that they should be cycling a portion - in my opinion, a large portion - of those profits into bitcoin. The combination of building a company utilizing these AI tools, getting it to market, getting revenue and profits, and turning those profits into bitcoin cannot be understated. You're going to begin seeing teams of one to ten people building businesses worth billions of dollars and they're going to need to store the value they create, any money that cannot be debased.

Many are simply thinking of consumer apps that can be built and distributed quickly to market, but the ways in which AI can be implemented extend far beyond the digital world. Here's a great example of a company a fellow freak is building with the mindset of keeping the team small, utilizing AI tools to automate processes and quickly push profits into bitcoin.

Again, this is where the exciting things are happening in my mind. People leveraging new tools to solve real problems to drive real value that ultimately produce profits for entrepreneurs. The entrepreneurs who decide to save those profits in bitcoin will find that the equity value growth of their companies accelerates exponentially as they provide more value, gain more traction, and increase their profits while also riding the bitcoin as it continues on its monetization phase. The compounded leverage of building a company that leverages AI tools and sweeps profits into bitcoin is going to be one of the biggest asymmetric plays of the next decade. Personally, I also see it as something that's much more fulfilling than the pure play bitcoin treasury companies that are coming to market because consumers and entrepreneurs are able to recive and provide a ton of value in the real economy.

Wait, what? What was the great idea?

new guy at NeXT In October of 1991, I was a new Systems Engineer at NeXT. NeXT, of course, was the company Steve Jobs had founded after leaving Apple in 1985, and which eventually merged back into Apple in 1996. I was one of three employees in Canada, and I think NeXT had about 400 people total.

NeXTMail Mail on the NeXT Computer was pretty amazing in 1991. Multimedia! Fonts! Attachments! Sounds! It’s hard to overstate how cool that was compared to the command line email everybody was used to. Every NeXT user got this email from Steve when they started up their computer.

That message included an attachment of what NeXT called Lip Service, the crazy idea that you could embed an audio file inside an email message. Crazy.

NeXT automatically set everybody up with a first-initial last-name address in the usual way, so I was shayman@next.com, and the big guy was sjobs@next.com.

A few colleagues had somehow acquired cooler email aliases - single letter things, or their first name, or a nickname or an easier to spell version, or whatever. Turns out NeXT had set up some sort of form where you could request an email alias that would redirect to whatever your real email address was.

I also noticed that even though there were seven or eight people at NeXT named Steve, nobody was using the email alias steve@next.com.

So late one Friday night, two weeks into the job, I figured, naively, what the heck, nobody else seems to want it, so I filled in the form asking for steve@next.com to be forwarded to me, shayman@next.com.

In the back of my mind was a vague idea that maybe somebody would have to approve this. But no, it all got set up automatically, and …

Past week summary

From a Self Custody for Organizations perspective, after analyzing the existing protocols (Cerberus, 10xSecurityBTCguide and Glacier) and reading a bunch of relates articles and guides, have wrapped to the conclusion that this format it is good to have as reference. However, something else is needed. For example, a summary or a map of the whole process to provide an overview, plus a way to deliver all the information and the multy-process in a more enjoyable way. Not a job for this hackathon, but with the right collaborations I assume it's possible to: - build something that might introduce a bit more quests and gamification - provide a learning environment (with testnet funds) could also be crucial on educating those unfamiliar with bitcoin onchain dynamics.

Have been learning more and playing around practicing best accessibility practices and how it could be applied to a desktop software like Bitcoin Safe. Thanks to @johnjherzog for providing a screen recording of his first experience and @jasonb for suggesting the tools to be used. (in this case tested/testing on Windows with the Accessibility Insights app). Some insight shared have been also applied to the website, running a full accessibility check (under WCAG 2.2 ADA, and Section 508 standards) with 4 different plugins and two online tools. I recognize that not all of them works and analyze the same parameters, indeed they complement each other providing a more accurate review.

Past week summary

From a Self Custody for Organizations perspective, after analyzing the existing protocols (Cerberus, 10xSecurityBTCguide and Glacier) and reading a bunch of relates articles and guides, have wrapped to the conclusion that this format it is good to have as reference. However, something else is needed. For example, a summary or a map of the whole process to provide an overview, plus a way to deliver all the information and the multy-process in a more enjoyable way. Not a job for this hackathon, but with the right collaborations I assume it's possible to: - build something that might introduce a bit more quests and gamification - provide a learning environment (with testnet funds) could also be crucial on educating those unfamiliar with bitcoin onchain dynamics.

Have been learning more and playing around practicing best accessibility practices and how it could be applied to a desktop software like Bitcoin Safe. Thanks to @johnjherzog for providing a screen recording of his first experience and @jasonbohio for suggesting the tools to be used. (in this case tested/testing on Windows with the Accessibility Insights app). Some insight shared have been also applied to the website, running a full accessibility check (under WCAG 2.2 ADA, and Section 508 standards) with 4 different plugins and two online tools. I recognize that not all of them works and analyze the same parameters, indeed they complement each other providing a more accurate review.

Der lateinische Ausdruck «Quo vadis» als Frage nach einer Entwicklung oder Ausrichtung hat biblische Wurzeln. Er wird aber auch in unserer Alltagssprache verwendet, laut Duden meist als Ausdruck von Besorgnis oder Skepsis im Sinne von: «Wohin wird das führen?»

Der Sinn und Zweck von so mancher politischen Entscheidung erschließt sich heutzutage nicht mehr so leicht, und viele Trends können uns Sorge bereiten. Das sind einerseits sehr konkrete Themen wie die zunehmende Militarisierung und die geschichtsvergessene Kriegstreiberei in Europa, deren Feindbildpflege aktuell beim Gedenken an das Ende des Zweiten Weltkriegs beschämende Formen annimmt.

Auch das hohe Gut der Schweizer Neutralität scheint immer mehr in Gefahr. Die schleichende Bewegung der Eidgenossenschaft in Richtung NATO und damit weg von einer Vermittlerposition erhält auch durch den neuen Verteidigungsminister Anschub. Martin Pfister möchte eine stärkere Einbindung in die europäische Verteidigungsarchitektur, verwechselt bei der Argumentation jedoch Ursache und Wirkung.

Das Thema Gesundheit ist als Zugpferd für Geschäfte und Kontrolle offenbar schon zuverlässig etabliert. Die hauptsächlich privat finanzierte Weltgesundheitsorganisation (WHO) ist dabei durch ein Netzwerk von sogenannten «Collaborating Centres» sogar so weit in nationale Einrichtungen eingedrungen, dass man sich fragen kann, ob diese nicht von Genf aus gesteuert werden.

Das Schweizer Bundesamt für Gesundheit (BAG) übernimmt in dieser Funktion ebenso von der WHO definierte Aufgaben und Pflichten wie das deutsche Robert Koch-Institut (RKI). Gegen die Covid-«Impfung» für Schwangere, die das BAG empfiehlt, obwohl es fehlende wissenschaftliche Belege für deren Schutzwirkung einräumt, formiert sich im Tessin gerade Widerstand.

Unter dem Stichwort «Gesundheitssicherheit» werden uns die Bestrebungen verkauft, essenzielle Dienste mit einer biometrischen digitalen ID zu verknüpfen. Das dient dem Profit mit unseren Daten und führt im Ergebnis zum Verlust unserer demokratischen Freiheiten. Die deutsche elektronische Patientenakte (ePA) ist ein Element mit solchem Potenzial. Die Schweizer Bürger haben gerade ein Referendum gegen das revidierte E-ID-Gesetz erzwungen. In Thailand ist seit Anfang Mai für die Einreise eine «Digital Arrival Card» notwendig, die mit ihrer Gesundheitserklärung einen Impfpass «durch die Hintertür» befürchten lässt.

Der massive Blackout auf der iberischen Halbinsel hat vermehrt Fragen dazu aufgeworfen, wohin uns Klimawandel-Hysterie und «grüne» Energiepolitik führen werden. Meine Kollegin Wiltrud Schwetje ist dem nachgegangen und hat in mehreren Beiträgen darüber berichtet. Wenig überraschend führen interessante Spuren mal wieder zu internationalen Großbanken, Globalisten und zur EU-Kommission.

Zunehmend bedenklich ist aber ganz allgemein auch die manifestierte Spaltung unserer Gesellschaften. Angesichts der tiefen und sorgsam gepflegten Gräben fällt es inzwischen schwer, eine zukunftsfähige Perspektive zu erkennen. Umso begrüßenswerter sind Initiativen wie die Kölner Veranstaltungsreihe «Neue Visionen für die Zukunft». Diese möchte die Diskussionskultur reanimieren und dazu beitragen, dass Menschen wieder ohne Angst und ergebnisoffen über kontroverse Themen der Zeit sprechen.

Quo vadis – Wohin gehen wir also? Die Suche nach Orientierung in diesem vermeintlichen Chaos führt auch zur Reflexion über den eigenen Lebensweg. Das ist positiv insofern, als wir daraus Kraft schöpfen können. Ob derweil der neue Papst, dessen «Vorgänger» Petrus unsere Ausgangsfrage durch die christliche Legende zugeschrieben wird, dabei eine Rolle spielt, muss jede/r selbst wissen. Mir persönlich ist allein schon ein Führungsanspruch wie der des Petrusprimats der römisch-katholischen Kirche eher suspekt.

A few weeks ago, I ran into an old friend at a coffee shop. We hadn’t spoken in years, and within five minutes, she said something I’ve heard countless times:

“I just feel like I’m so behind.”

Behind who? Behind what?

There’s this idea—quiet, nagging, oddly universal—that we’re all somehow in a race we didn’t sign up for. That we’re supposed to have hit certain milestones by certain ages. That if we’re not married, promoted, rich, settled, happy (and photogenic) by 30 or 40 or pick your poison, then we’ve failed some invisible test.

Where did this come from?

Some of it’s cultural, obviously. Social media compresses timelines. You’re 27, doom-scrolling, and suddenly someone from high school just IPO’d their startup and got engaged in Rome. Another just bought a house with a kitchen island the size of a small country. You wonder if you missed a memo.

But beneath that, there’s something deeper. A belief that life is linear. That it should look like a staircase: school, job, marriage, house, kids, success. But real life? It’s a squiggle. A mess. A beautiful disaster.

Here’s the truth: You’re not behind. There’s no schedule. There’s only your path, and the courage it takes to stay on it—even when it looks wildly different from everyone else’s.

I say this as someone who has taken the “scenic route.” I changed careers in my 30s. I moved cities on a hunch. I dropped things that looked great on paper because they felt wrong in my gut. I’ve had seasons of momentum and seasons of stuckness. Both were necessary.

“Catching up” assumes there’s a fixed destination. But what if there isn’t? What if the point isn’t arrival, but presence? Progress that feels real, not performative?

If you need a permission slip to stop comparing, let this be it.

You’re not late. You’re not early.
You’re right on time.

There’s something sacred about morning air — the way it carries just enough chill to remind you you’re alive, without pushing you back inside. I’ve been starting my days on the balcony lately. Not because it’s glamorous (it isn’t), or because I have a routine (I don’t), but because it’s the only space in my apartment that feels both open and still.

This morning I made coffee with too much cinnamon and curled up with a blanket that’s seen better days. I watched the city slowly wake up — one barking dog, two joggers, and the clatter of a recycling truck below. It’s odd how these tiny patterns become a kind of comfort.

Consider the following two charts from A History of Clojure which detail the introduction and retention of new code by release for both Clojure and for Scala.

While this doesn't necessarily translate to library stability, it's reasonable to assume that the attitude of the Clojure maintainers will seep into the community. And that assumption is true.

Consider a typical Javascript program. What is it comprised of? Objects, objects, and more objects. Members of those objects must be either introspected or divined. Worse, it's normal to monkeypatch those objects, so the object members may (or may not) change over time.

Now, consider a typical Clojure program. What is it comprised of? Namespaces. Those namespaces contain functions and data. Functions may be dynamically generated (via macros), but it is extremely rare to "monkeypatch" a namespace. If you want to know what functions are available in a namespace, you can simply read the source file.

เนยที่เก่าแก่ที่สุดเท่าที่มีบันทึก คือ “Bog Butter” จากไอร์แลนด์ ไม่ใช่ blockbuster นะ ฮาๆๆๆ “Bog Butter” เป็นเนยที่ถูกฝังไว้ในบึงพรุ (bog) ของไอร์แลนด์และสก็อตแลนด์ มาหลายร้อยถึงหลายพันปี โดยไม่มีการเน่าเสีย! เพราะบึงพรุมีสภาพแวดล้อมที่เป็นกรด ไม่มีออกซิเจน และเย็น จึงเป็นสภาวะที่เหมาะกับการถนอมอาหารแบบธรรมชาติสุด ๆ

เนยแท้ (butter) ก็คือน้ำนมที่ถูกแยกเอาไขมันออกมาด้วยการตี (churning) โดยอาศัยแรงมือหรือแรงกล เครื่องตีจะรวมเม็ดไขมันเล็ก ๆ จากครีมนมให้จับตัวกันกลายเป็นก้อนเนย แล้วแยกเอาน้ำบัตเตอร์มิลค์ออกไป คงเหลือไว้แค่ไขมันเนยที่หอม มัน และอุดมไปด้วยวิตามิน A, D, E, K ในรูปที่ดูดซึมง่าย เพราะละลายในไขมัน

องค์ประกอบหลักที่อยู่ในเนยจะมี 3 ส่วนใหญ่ๆเรียกแบบเหมารวมคือ

1 ไขมันนม/ไขมันเนย หรือ butter oil 2 เนื้อนม หรือ solid milk 3 ส่วนที่เป็นของเหลวต่างๆ หรือ moisture คือมันไม่เจาะจงว่าน้ำนึกออกไหมครับ นมมาจากธรรมชาติไม่ได้มาจากการผสมสัดส่วน ดังนั้นการจะมุ่งว่าเป็นน้ำเลยจึงไม่ใช่เสียทีเดียว ภาษาไทยเราจึงมักแปลไว้ว่าส่วนที่เป็นความชื้น *ตรงนี้มีหมายเหตุไว้นิดหน่อยครับว่า เจ้าไขมันเนยนี่ เราอาจะเจอภาษาอังกฤษหลายคำนะครับ เช่น butterfat, butter oil, fat milk ตรงนี้ให้เข้าไจไว้ว่ามันหมายถึงสิ่งเดียวกันนั่นหละครับ

เห็นไหมครับว่า เนยแต่ละยี่ห้อเขาก็จะมีกรรมวิธีผลิตเนยในรูปแบบที่ต่างกันไป เนยบ่มก็จะมีกลิ่นหอมรสที่หนักแน่นปริมาณไขมันเนยและความชื้นน้อยกว่าเนยแบบ sweet cream ส่วนเจ้าเนย sweet cream เองก็เน้นที่ความสดความเฟรช กลิ่นเบาๆครีมๆมีความหวานหลงเหลืออยู่และมีราคาถูกกว่า ส่วนตัว raw butter ก็จะออกไปทางงานคราฟท์ คลาสสิค

เนย Home made ทำยังไง เนยแบบที่เราทำกินเองได้ในบ้านก็เป็นแบบ sweet cream butter หรือ เนยที่ได้จากครีมสดไม่ผ่านการหมักอะไรเลย เว้นแต่เติมเกลือเพื่อให้เป็นเนยเค็ม (จริงๆเติมเกลือเพื่อช่วยยืดอายุเนยได้อีกระยะหนึ่งด้วยนะ เป็นแทคติก) ปกติวิธีการทำเนย เขาจะเอาครีมเข้าถังปั่น เพื่อให้ครีมเกิดการแยกก้อนเนยเป็น grain (เขาเรียกว่า butter granule/butter curds) กับ หางเนย (butter milk) ซึ่งเป็นของเหลวที่ประกอบไปด้วยเนื้อนมไม่รวมมันเนยแล้วก็น้ำ แล้วเขาก็จะเอาก้อนเนยนี่แหละไปล้างน้ำเย็นเอากลิ่นหืนๆและรสประหลาดๆออกไป กำจัดความชื้นแล้วจบกระบวนการตีๆตบๆขึ้นรูปเนยก้อนต่อไป

ตรงนี้ถ้าจะให้เห็นภาพขึ้น ใครทำขนมเองคงรู้ดี เวลาที่เราตีวิปครีมมากเกินไป มันจะจับก้อนและแยกชั้น เป็นก้อนๆกับเหลวๆ ก้อนๆก็คือเนื้อเนย ไอ้เหลวๆก็คือ butter milk

การทำ เนยสด homemade fresh butter กินเองที่บ้านเราก็ทำได้ด้วยการจำลองถังปั่นด้วยเครื่องตีขนม จะเป็นแบบตีมือหรือแบบเครื่องก็ได้ครับ หรืออยากจะแอดวานซ์เอาใส่ขวดน้ำแล้วเขย่าก็ได้เหมือนกันนะครับ เมื่อถึงระยะเวลานึงครีมก็จะแยกตัวเป็นเนย กับ butter milk

ไขมันในเนยมีองค์ประกอบพิเศษที่ไม่ค่อยถูกพูดถึงเท่าไรนัก นั่นคือกรดไขมันสายสั้นอย่าง butyric acid ซึ่งมีชื่อมาจากคำว่า “butter” เลย เพราะมันมีบทบาทในลำไส้ โดยเฉพาะการเป็นอาหารของเซลล์เยื่อบุลำไส้ใหญ่ ช่วยลดอาการอักเสบในระบบทางเดินอาหาร

สัดส่วนไขมันในเนยส่วนใหญ่จะเป็น ไขมันอิ่มตัว (SFA) ราว 50-65%, ไขมันไม่อิ่มตัวเชิงเดี่ยว (MUFA) ประมาณ 25-30% และไขมันไม่อิ่มตัวเชิงซ้อน (PUFA) ราว 2-5% เท่านั้น แต่ในส่วนของ PUFA นั้นมีความพิเศษเล็กน้อย ที่จะคุยในน้ำมันตัวต่อไปครับ

ในโลกตะวันตกโดยเฉพาะฝรั่งเศส อิตาลี และยุโรปตอนเหนือ เนยคือพระเอกประจำห้องครัว ใช้ผัด ใช้อบ ใช้ทาขนมปัง เป็นของคู่กับวัฒนธรรมการกินแบบ traditional food ซึ่งแตกต่างจากยุคอุตสาหกรรมที่ผลักให้เนยแท้หลบมุม แล้วเอา margarine หรือ shortening ซึ่งเต็มไปด้วยไขมันแปรรูปมาแทน ด้วยการโฆษณาแบบ fiat food คล้ายกับเรื่องที่เฮียเคยพูดบ่อย ๆ นั่นแหละ

ในประเทศไทยเราเองก็มีเนยวัวใช้ในอาหารบางชนิด โดยเฉพาะขนมอบ ขนมฝรั่งโบราณ หรือขนมเนยสดสไตล์ยุโรปที่เข้ามาสมัยรัชกาลที่ 5 แต่โดยรวมคนไทยไม่คุ้นเคยกับเนยในครัวร้อนมากนัก เพราะวัฒนธรรมอาหารเรามักใช้ไขมันจากสัตว์ท้องถิ่นมากกว่า เช่น น้ำมันหมู ไขมันวัว หรือน้ำมันจากไก่และเป็ด

การใช้เนยจึงเป็นเหมือนการสื่อสารข้ามวัฒนธรรม เป็นของเรียบง่ายที่เล่าเรื่องความรู้ของมนุษย์กับธรรมชาติได้อย่างลึกซึ้ง ยิ่งเมื่อเรากลับมานึกถึงภูมิปัญญาเดิม ๆ ก็จะเห็นว่า เนยไม่ได้แค่ให้พลังงาน แต่มันคือไขมันที่พาคุณค่าสารอาหารซึมลึกเข้าไปถึงทุกเนื้อเยื่อ และพาเราเดินทางกลับไปสู่วิถีของอาหารจริง (real food) อย่างสง่างามเลยล่ะ

Safe Bits & Self Custody Tips

The journey of onboarding a user and create a bitcoin multiSig setup begins far before opening a desktop like Bitcoin Safe (BS) or any other similar application. Bitcoin Safe seems designed for families and people that want to start exploring and learning about multiSig setup. The need for such application and use of it could go much further, defining best practices for private organizations that aim to custody bitcoin in a private and anonymous way, following and enjoy the values and standards bitcoin has been built for.

Intro

Organizations and small private groups like families, family offices and solopreneurs operating on a bitcoin standard will have the need to keep track of transactions and categorize them to keep the books in order. A part of our efforts will be spent ensuring accessibility standards are in place for everyone to use Bitcoin Safe with comfort and safety.

We aim with this project to bring together the three Designathon ideas below: - Bitcoin Safe: improve its overall design and usability. - No User Left Behind: improve Bitcoin Safe accessibility. - Self-custody guidelines for organizations: How Bitcoin Safe can be used by private organization following best self-custody practices.

We are already halfway of the first week, and here below the progress made so far.

Designing an icon Set for Bitcoin Safe

One of the noticeable things when using BS is the inconsistency of the icons, not just in colors and shapes, but also the way are used. The desktop app try to have a clean design that incorporate with all OS (Win, macOS, Linux) and for this reason it's hard to define when a system default icon need to be used or if a custom one can be applied instead. The use of QT Ui framework for python apps help to respond to these questions. It also incorporates and brig up dome default settings that aren't easily overwritten.

Defining a more strict color palette for Bitcoin Safe was the first thing!

How much the icons affect accessibility? How they can help users to reach the right functionality? I took the challenge and, with PenPot.app, redesigned the icons based on the grid defined in the https://bitcoinicons.com/ and proposing the implementation of it to have a cleaner and more consistent look'n feel, at least for the icons now.

What's next

I personally look forward to seeing these icons implemented soon in Bitcoin Safe interface. In the meantime, we'll focus on delivering an accessibility audit and evaluate options to see how BS could be used by private organizations aiming to become financially sovereign with self-custody or more complex bitcoin multiSig setups.

One of the greatest innovations BS is bringing to us is the ability to sync the multiSig wallets, including PBST, Categories and labels, through the nostr decentralized protocol, making current key custodial services somehow obsolete. Second-coolest feature that this nostr implementation brings is the ability to have a build-in private chat that connect and enable the various signers of a multiSig to communicate and sign transactions remotely. Where have you seen something like this before?

Categories UX and redesign is also considered in this project. We'll try to understand how to better serve this functionality to you, the user, really soon.
