The purpose of proof-of-work in #Bitcoin is to enable an individual to determine the network state without appeal to other forms of consensus.
This only works if participants can run nodes. If someone can’t run a node, then they can’t validate proof of work, and the entire system fails for them. They’re right back to the “trust me bro” model that applies to everything else.
When a person runs a node, they opt in to a particular set of consensus rules. Anyone is free to join. Everyone is free to leave. We are all tenants at will.
If you don’t like the rules, fork off, and godspeed.

for me it's the case that i would probably be dead by now if it weren't for my persistent pushing towards figuring out what is going on so i can place myself properly to be able to do something useful
i mean, i've done several useful things in the past... most of the time it's just something among a very specific subculture and a very small number of people who knew about what i did, and then not long after, that whole structure was dissolved
i have learned that the hands of evil cannot touch me, and doubly so if i am bold in my steps
i think theey kinda get the clue that they can't just dice with me because i'm a slippery fish, i don't take long to figure out the game they are playing and i call them out and they are like "ok, moving right along" because if they feed me too much attention i will get a whole movement going haha

well, i have a language barrier and i'm timid in the best of cases without that as well
someone has to jump me for anything to happen... i felt like there was some kinda vibe around me of like "new person, we know this guy from around but here he is" but they probably none of them can speak good english, was kinda funny actually because the people near me down the back left i knew were all neighbours from this area, and yeah, mostly farmers...
i will persist, anyhows, something will come up... having the plan of the text of the procedure will help me a lot with understanding it anyway

Out and about today running a few errands, I came across this thing. It looked like the top of an old greenhouse.
Since I'm on the lookout for old cars for a film project with my friend, I decided to explore behind the structure and discovered this monstrosity. Just look at this thing! If I were to name it, I'd call it Oscar - an absolute gem.
This is why I always carry my camera with me; you never know what you'll come across when you least expect it.

I’ve noticed three distinct responses wrt the Strategic Bitcoin Reserve.
No-coiners: Totally unaware. Didn’t know it happened. Couldn’t tell you the current Bitcoin price either.
Bitcoin Tourists: Bummed the announcement didn’t instantly pump their bags. Anxious the top may be in this cycle. Considering selling some.
Real Bitcoiners: Euphoric, bullish, regardless of short term price action, knowing the long term paradigm shift to a Bitcoin standard is well underway.
